This training-course for Roma youth organizations takes place on May 26 until May 30 in Slovenia. Youth In Action programme has been supporting Roma participation in the programme since 2012. In 2015 Slovenian and and Hungarian National agencies are organizing TC for Roma organizations, with the aim to offer the opportunitiy to meet potential future partners, support partnership building and engourage them to become involved with the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme.
AIM
The aim of the training course is to offer an opportunity for Roma (youth) organizations to meet potential future partners from other countries in order to become more involved in the Erasmus+ programme, to present opportunities for international projects and share good practices.
LOCATION AND PRACTICALITIES
The training course will take place in North-East Slovenia. The programme will start on 26th May at 14:00 and end on 30th May with lunch.
TARGET GROUP
We are looking for participants who
- are at least 18 years old
- have some experience in organizing projects at least on local level
- have motivation and plans for cooperation with other Roma organisations on international level
- are active members of Roma organisations
- have experience working with Roma Youth (youngsters aged 13 and older)
- will be able to attend the whole training course (4 full days)
The training couse will take place in English, but translation can be provided. We can accept up to two people from the same organization – in this case one should have English knowledge on conversational level.
ORGANIZERS
This training course is financed by the EU Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme and organized by the Slovenian National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme (MOVIT – Institute for the development of youth mobility, see www.movit.si) in cooperation with the Hungarian National Agency of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme (Nemzeti Család-és Szociálpolitikai Intézet, see http://ncsszi.hu/).
