Amaro Drom e.V. has been awarded with the Social Human Rights Award 2013 of Eberhard Schultz Foundation for Social Human Rights and Participation.
Phiren Amenca founding member Amaro Drom e.V. (Germany) has been awarded with the Social Human Rights Award 2013 of Eberhard Schultz Foundation for Social Human Rights and Participation. The jury voted for Amaro Drom because of its strong participatory character through its involvement of Roma youth in the concrete work. They pointed out that it is an outstanding achievement for a young organization to work from a marginalized position for equal participation and to be recognized for its aims and values after only a few years.
Eberhard Schultz Foundation is a non-profit-making, and charitable organization, dedicated to promote and protect the social human rights. Its vision is that all people in the world can participate in a democratic society of social equality and diversity and live in common with the social human rights after the 
International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, ICESCR. The foundation wants to honour individuals, associations, projects, organisations or companies with the “Social Human Rights Award” who have a demonstrable track record in this area.
