Ioana Spataru and Vivian Hagert have been participating at the EUJS Yad Vashem seminar – Remembrance and shoah-education in the 21st century between December 10-18. 2019.
The seminar was an in-depth Shoah seminar at the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem, facilitated by Yad Vashem and EUJS. 23 Jewish and 2 Roma youth leaders, activists and informal educators did join the seminar with leading experts and educators, to discover new perspectives on the Shoah and the Roma Holocaust and discuss their impact on our communities today.
The travel of our two Roma representatives have been financed by the Roma Youth Voices Project funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the DG Justice, European Commission.
