My name is Federica, I’m 27 years old and I’m from Italy. I have been an educator and a project coordinator assistant (thank to the National Civil Service Project) from November 2017 to November 2018. Before this experience, from October 2016 to November 2017, I’ve been a project manager assistant in a center that studies how to prevent the phenomenon of mafia. During July 2017, I was a collaborator of an association that creates cultural exchange for young people; in particular, they asked me to propose an idea for their first European volunteering service’s project and to fill in the relative module. In December 2016 and in July 2014 I was a dialogue for Save the Children and Amnesty International. As volunteer, I’m a volunteer of Amnesty International from October 2011 (in this time, I’m member of the group that studies the central part of Africa) and I’ve been volunteer for an association called Rita Atria against mafia.
I studied law and I attended three short masters: one about gender studies, one about European funds and one about the fundraisings for non profit organizations. I’m going to finish an other short master about immigrant law.
In my free time, I like watching TV, I like listening to music, I like dancing and I like singing.
I decided to become an EVS volunteer for some particular reasons: I want to improve myself, I want to improve my English, I want to build a career in nonprofit organizations, and I would like, in the next year, to participate to a Master in International Cooperation. I have to get more experience before to attend it.
