Job vacancy in Budapest: Managing director of Phiren Amenca
Phiren Amenca – RGDTS Nonprofit Kft. is looking for a managing director for its coordination office in Budapest. Phiren Amenca is an international network of Roma and non-Roma voluntary service organizations creating opportunities for non-formal education, dialogue and engagement in order to challenge stereotypes and racism.
Your main tasks:
— Management of the international network and strategic planning;
— Development and implementation of programs for the civic and non-formal education of young adults;
— Coordination of a motivated team of staff members, local and international volunteers;
— Fundraising, in particular writing grant applications, and mainting good communication with donors and institutions;
— Financial management – budgeting, cash flow, controlling of accountability, financial reports;
— Close cooperation with the board and members to implement the strategy and action plan; maintaining transparent communication between office, board and member organizations;
-Networking and advocacy activities at European level.
Qualifications and requirements:
— Completed university degree in relevant field;
— Experiences in leadership positions and international NGO work; experience in the field of youth work and non-formal education;
— Experiences in project management, preferrably with EU and EYF projects;
— High proficiency in English; additional language skills can be an advantage, in particular Romani or Hungarian;
— Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
— Reliable, meticulous, precise work;
—-Teamwork and team leadership skills in an international environment;
— Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends;

Starting date: 1st January 2016, fix-term contract until 31 December 2017, prolongation possible.
