The Commissione Sinodale per la Diaconia (CSD) – Diaconia Valdese (www.diaconiavaldese.org) is a national non-profit organization and an ecclesiastical body within the Waldensian Church in Italy (www.chiesavaldese.org). Waldesians and Methodists are Christians who belong to the family of Protestant churches. The CSD – Diaconia Valdese is a national organization, with regional operations in Piedmont, Tuscany and Sicily: non-profit guesthouses which, open to people regardless of their religion, and social and welfare services and solidarity projects aimed at providing assistance to children, young people, the disabled, migrants and the elderly.
