TOUCH Project Charitable Foundation is a non-governmental local charitable organisation. It was established in 2003. The aim of the Foundation is to provide help children and youth-orphans and disabled children and youth in Uzhgorod and in its district, Transcarpathian oblast. To achieve the aim, the Foundation reaches such objectives:- protects the interests of people, who need help, by protecting their rights and privileges by influencing the bodies of authorities, helps to solve conflict situations in favour of each particular person;- provides all-around help to families in need, including providing them with wheel-chairs and special equipment;- establishes active contacts with medical and rehabilitation centres, medical and scientific institutes of Ukraine and abroad, and with other institutions and specialists with the aim of wide implementation of the modern methods of treatment, education and rehabilitation;- assists in holding scientific conferences, seminars, discussions and special training for parents and specialists in the region;- provides preparation and publishing methodological literature, periodicals and other information materials;- influences public opinion and creates the atmosphere preferable for social adaptation of people, who need help by conducting actions, spiritual meetings, holidays, conferences, with mass media publicity;- conducts other activity in the frames of the law, which helps to achieve the aim of the Foundation.
