APPLY TO BE A PART OF THE EYE 2021

The European Youth Event (EYE) will take place between 8 and 9 October 2021 in Strasbourg and Phiren Amenca will bring 20 young Roma and non-Roma to the event. Apply and become one of them!

The EYE brings together at the European Parliament in Strasbourg thousands of young people from all over the European Union and beyond, to shape and share their ideas on the future of Europe.

EYE2021 takes place between 8 and 9 October 2021, offering a variety of activities in Strasbourg, co-created with partners, youth organizations and participants themselves.

Activities will take place inside the European Parliament building and outside in the EYE Village. Draft program of the EYE is available here.

Participants will join and run the activity of Phiren Amenca about antigypsyism at the EYE village and will be able to chose from around 30 different activities, meet and discuss with MEPs and shape the European Parliament agenda.

Who can apply: young Roma and non-Roma age between 18-30 years old, coming from EU Member states and can attend the whole duration.

Dates of the activity: 7-10. October 2021. (7th and 10th are arrival and departure days)

Place: Strasbourg, France

Phiren Amenca will cover travel, accommodation and meals for all participants. There is no participation fee to attend this activity. After you receive a positive answer you are selected as a participant, the Phiren Amenca team will organize your travel.

In order to facilitate the entrance to the EYE and the European Parliament, Phiren Amenca is collecting personal data, which is strictly protected under the EU GDPR regulations.

Please note that we follow all Covid-19 restrictions and we will keep you up to date in case the event will be cancelled. Participants with EU Covid-19 Certificates are encouraged to apply! In case participants are selected but they do not have the EU Covid-19 certificates participants will have to cover by themselves the cost for their COVID-19 tests.
