Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can!! – Hanadi

Volunteering can make a difference and everyone should try it!!

I am a 26 year old graduate student in marketing who loves changing looks, dancing, and discovering new things. My career experiences began as a passionate journalist in a communications agency where I learned that communication is the Key of Life for me

In pursuing my passion for human rights and cross-cultural communication I chose to work closely with many NGOs, and I decided to be volunteer. I got accepted in a wonderful project with the Association of Roma Minority Representatives and Spokespeople of Nógrád County (ARMRSN) for 1 year in Hungary delivering different trainings in France, Poland, Austria and specifically in Hungary, for Roma and non-Roma students after school.

For me volunteering is a two-way street: It can benefit me and my family as much as the cause I choose to help. Dedicating my time as a volunteer helps me make new friends, expand my network, and boost my social skills.

Adding to that, it is the perfect way to discover something you may be really good at as you develop a new skill.

Volunteering brings together a diverse range of people from all walks of life. What inspires me to be a volunteer is that a society can only work well when everyone contributes something to it.

“My inspiration is my satisfaction.” When I help someone, they become happy and sometimes they say thank you. … Also to see other people happy and thankful motivates me. I left my comfort zone to get a new life, new challenges!!!
